Before starting my PhD, I completed my BA at Northwestern University in 2021, with a double major in Statistics and Biology. During this time, I was mentored by Prof. Alexandria Volkening. I went on to complete an MS in Statistics and Data Science at Northwestern University in 2024. During this time, I was advised by Prof. Bradly C. Stadie.
Currently, I am advised by Prof. Ian Foster and Dr. Arvind Ramanathan at UChicago.
I am interested in applying reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms to improve reasoning capabilities for frontier scientific AI models. Applications focus on improving scientific reasoning capabilities in biology, automating experimental workflows through agentic systems, and scaling RL workflows on HPC systems for accelerating scientific discovery.
