Jiya completed her undergraduate degree at Renmin University of China in 2020. She went on to earn her Master’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2022. As of Fall 2023, she is pursuing her PhD at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago.
Jiya is currently involved in the UpDown Project, working under the guidance of Prof. Andrew A. Chien. Her research interests encompass computer systems, computer architecture, and near-data-processing.
