Advisor: Raul Castro Fernandez

Before starting my PhD, I completed my undergraduate from UChicago in 2016, finishing with a BS with Honors in Computer Science and a BS in Math. My undergraduate thesis in distributed power management was advised by Hank Hoffmann, and we published “Penelope: peer-to-peer Power Management” in ICPP’22.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, WA.

I am interested in database systems, in particular cost-aware cloud query processing and how this relates to the value of data. My current research is in cloud pricing models and money savings for analytical query workloads.
