Fan Yang

I am a PhD student from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago. I have broad research interests in file system and storage, parallel and distributed systems, data-intensive computing, large-scale system software, green computing, and computer architecture. My current focus includes exploiting green stranded power for large-scale computing, and scalable, highly-available storage over volatile resources.
