Abstract: In this lecture, Tomo Kihara, artist and game developer from Japan will share his recent work utilizing AI for deviational creativity in games. This lecture explores how we can use AI not to recreate from the past but to use it in a way to understand what has been created in the past and deviate creatively from it. Kihara will also touch on how he uses play as a method to uncover new insights and fresh perspectives.
