MPCS Application Deadlines

* Round 3 information: the Round 3 deadline is available to US Citizens, Permanent Residents and those working in the US on H1B visas. The MPCS will consider applications for Round 3 from international students who are already in the US on a valid student visa. Please contact us to confirm eligibility before starting an application. Applications will be considered after August 5th if space is available.  The Application may close at an earlier date than August 5th if we have exceeded our class size. 

** Rolling decisions for Round 3 will not begin until after all Round 2 decisions are released. 

Part-time applications can be submitted at any time before the final deadline for your intended start quarter. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Decisions are released 2-4 weeks after all required materials have been received. Part-time study is available for US Citizens, Permanent Residents and those working in the US on H1B visas. Student visa sponsorship is not available for Part-Time students. 

*Winter, Spring, and Summer quarter starts are not always available. Depending on your course plan, placement exam results, and programming background, you may not be able to start the program until Autumn quarter. Please reach out to us to discuss course planning and the best quarter to begin your MPCS studies.

Applicants interested in the Joint MBA/MPCS degree will apply through Booth’s centralized, joint-application process. Applicants should complete the Chicago Booth Full-Time MBA application, and select the MBA/MPCS as their program of interest. A MBA/MPCS program supplement will be available for completion within your Booth application. The supplement contains MPCS specific questions that will be reviewed by the MPCS admissions team. Admissions decisions for each program will be made independently. Applicants may receive a decision admitting them to the Booth Full-Time MBA program only or admitting them to the Joint MBA/MPCS program. Eligibility Requirements: Admission to the Joint MBA/MPCS program is completed as part of the Chicago Booth Full-time MBA application process. Students who have already started their MBA or MPCS are not eligible for the joint degree.
