Mike Franklin, Dan Nicolae Receive 2023 Arthur L. Kelly Faculty Prize
The prize is awarded to faculty members who have made exceptional efforts in promoting and supporting the Physical Sciences Division.
Liew Family Chair of Computer Science, Mike Franklin, and Faculty Co-Director of the Data Science Institute, Dan Nicolae, were recently named recipients of the 2023 Arthur L. Kelly Faculty Prize. The prize celebrates faculty who go above and beyond their teaching roles to support the efforts of the Physical Sciences Division. Both members have led a joint effort to advance data science education and research at the University of Chicago.
